Rio Bravo Outpost is a physical place – a full-service film production and post-production filmmaking collaborative designed to support filmmaking artists in the West Texas town of El Paso.
Created in 2016 and continually evolving, Rio Bravo Outpost gathers under one roof the talents and technologies required to plan, produce and post-produce feature films, shorts films, experimental, animated and art films and commercial moving image works. Consciously created to be a supportive outpost for filmmakers and other artists to lavish attention on their work, the facility features permanent and temporary work suites tuned for quiet practice and exploration of the cinema arts.
Over the years, Rio Bravo Outpost has supported the work of filmmakers from around the United States and the world, working on animated and live action projects running the gamut from experimental shorts and music videos to narrative and documentary features. We pride ourselves in constructing an encouraging and protective environment for filmmakers near and far – an oasis in the desert for creative moving image artists.
